Dj Mikele
was born in Torino, Italy. His first touch with the pickups,
mixing music and the clubbers started in 1981 with
experimental music. Since 1990, he worked exclusively on the
dance scene. Then, he comes along in the most popular clubs
of Athens. In 1985, in collaboration with L-Sega, created a
mobile party called "Dazzle". Together, they were playing in
the most farfetched places. From "Galaxy" of Hilton and
Intercontinental (in cooperation with OZON and MICRO
magazines), "Cavo Paradiso" in Mykonos and Decadence in
Thessaloniki to factories and picked beaches. In 1995, first
time for the Greek facts, he is called to play music in
Germany, in collaboration with HauseFraue (United
Enterprises). Together, they tour in 10 German cities from
Munich and Frankfurt to Hamburg. Then, he visited in
sequence more than 30 clubs in Holland, Switcherland and
Sweden, where he appeared with well Known names of
electronic music such as George Morel, Daniel Klein, Felix
Da Housecat, Mouse T., Eric Morillo, Marusha, Mark Spoon,
Westbam and others. His attendance on radio is also
noticeable. In 1994, we could listen to his sounds on Life
FM and in the period 1996-97 on Cool FM. Since 1998 and up
to now he keeps on expressing himself musically, every
Saturday from NRG radio. In the end of 1998, in cooperation
with FM Records and OZON magazine, he made a Compact Disc
with a selection of tracks that he had selected, under the
name "Le Club". The CD's presentation was in "Galaxy" of
Hilton. Apart from his appearance with John Digweedin in
Lecabetus, Mikele was one of the two Greek people that were
selected (the other was Konstantinos B) in order to
represent the Greek electronic expression of music. It was
about the international festival "Electron" that took place
in Athens for the first time in September 9, 2000. Among
other international names, he was the ligature and the
introduction in the appearance of "Orbital". If you want to
listen to Dj Mikele and his mixing techniques, he is every
second Saturday, as "Dazzle", in the club "U-Matic" while
the results of Avatone Recordings are still awaited
