::Mikael Delta Mikael started to listen to Electronic Music in 1988 via various House singles imported from America. Finding an interest in that music, Mikael started his own band, Stereo Nova (which was the first Ambient Greek band) in 1992. Working on solo projects at the same time, Mikael developed a sound influenced by the Detroit Sound & the European Electro scene. He attracted the interest of legendary R&S Records label where he released "The Picture" in 1996, a 12" which became an anthem in German super Techno club Tresor for several months. His sound grew to a more housey level & Mikael released in 1999 the "Blue Emotions" album on Glasgow Underground which got great feedback from the press Worldwide, especially France. Having signed exclusively on Distance for the world, Mikael completed his first album for the label, "Halcyon Days", which highlights his production talents. "Halycon Days" is a journey into a world full of vibes & emotions, taken from Mikael's personal experiences. A music that can be described mainly as a crossover between Kevin Yost ("Diving", "The Dawn") and St Germain ("Melt", "Postcards from You"), mixing various genres like Jazz, Ambient, House, Techno & Trip Hop. Mikael is also working on an overground level in his home country, producing tracks for classic Greek singers with a housey touch. This music released on a major label reached the highest positions in the Greek Top 40. His profile is huge there and Mikael is considered as a kind of local William Orbit. He has also just finalised the soundtrack of a Greek movie.
